We are excited to be launching our new one-day practical Equine Clipping Course, taking place in Richmond.

This hands-on course is ideal for horse owners, aspiring grooms and anyone who would like to confidently clip their own horse. You will receive practical tuition throughout the day, with expert guidance on how to work safely, keep your horse comfortable and achieve a neat, professional finish.

You will learn:

• How to prepare a horse for clipping  
• Safe handling and correct positioning  
• Choosing and using clippers, blades and equipment  
• How to clip evenly and avoid clipper lines  
• Different clip styles and how to plan your clip  
• Blending, finishing and aftercare  
• Looking after your clipping equipment  

There will be plenty of opportunity for practical experience, with support throughout the day to help you build your confidence.
